Sorry once more to be late on this thread but this is *exactly* why it can
be cheaper over time to buy a bigger and better PS.  Yes, it is true that
some manufacturers are conservative and others are total "pie in the
sky" but that can be determined in many ways.  The bottom line is that
a supply that is conservatively rated in the 80%-90% area is going to be
superior in many ways including operating costs over it's lifetime and give
much more reliable service.  You'd be amazed at how many PC's instability
and spontaneous reboots etc come from cheapass PS's.  It is not the place
to skimp.
