I don't follow the local bird-cage liner. It was once a real news paper, owned 
by Copley Press (yeah, the same folks as Copley Square in Bahstahn) and did a 
fair, if slanted to the right, job of news reporting. Now the imprint is owned 
by Gatehouse Media and no longer even printed in my town - it's printed 80 
miles up the road and trucked in ...... and contains precious little local 
reportage. I read their on-line website for the obits and the Ala Carte (food) 
column.

Put Noo Yawk Thymes and NPR in place of ADN and AP and that's my usual, as 
well.
 
I thought this was hokey season. Isn't the "futbol" (Murrican roolz) about 
done? I'm not a fan of any jockstrap sports. Once in a while I will watch 
(live) a stick & ball game of ladies fast pitch softball

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
 
      Title: Hockey Pucks
 Categories: Five, Snacks, Chocolate, Nuts
      Yield: 24 Servings
 
     16 oz Jar peanut butter
     16 oz Pkg buttery round crackers
      1 lb Semisweet chocolate; chopped
 
  Spread 1 teaspoon peanut butter on a cracker and top with
  another cracker.
  
  Place chocolate in top of double boiler; stir frequently
  over medium heat until melted.
  
  Place cracker sandwiches onto a fork and dip into the
  chocolate. Drain excess chocolate and cool on waxed paper.
  
  Store in refrigerator or cover and freeze until ready to
  serve.
