My grandma passed away this morning at the age of 92.  She lived through
two world wars, the Depression, the Cold War and lived to see the dawn of a
new millenium.  She was independent well into her eighties, and is survived
by three children and six grandchildren.

She had a good, long life, and her time had probably come.  She took a turn
for the worse about a week ago, and I suspect the will to live wasn't as
strong as it used to be.  My mother and her youngest brother were there
when she went, so she wasn't alone.
