PC:

- Multi-tasking OS (OS/2, UNIX)
- GUI-Windows development
- Database (Dbase III)
- MVIP (multi-vendor integration protocol) experience. These are
  PC cars that go into ISA slots to provide Pcs the technology to
be Voice Mail servers. See _Computer Telephone_, _TELECONNECT_
publications for more info.
- Voice Mail Server experience. We aren�t doing a voice-mail system,
but we can certainly reuse experience with PRX integration that
the voice mail people have.
- TI/EI signalling experience (CAS/MF/R2, Robbed Bit Signalling,
PRI, ISDN)
- Cellular System Knowledge (Hand0ff, IS-41, SS7) as used by cellular
operators to inteconnect MSCs)
- TCP/IP
- LAN/WAN technologies

ATS software engineering requirements range from Windows and database
development on Pcs down to microcontroller development for managing
radio hardware with standard telecommunications (t1, E1, ISDN)
between.

Our software development is divided into two camps. The embedded
systems
SW engineers and the SW engineers who work on the Pcs. The job
requirements
for those two groups are as follows:

- C/C++
- Microkernels (PSOS, VRTX, ByteDos)
- Telecommunications Experience (Wireless or Wired)
- TDMA, AMPS, GSM
- MCServe micro-processor experience, micro-controller
experience
- Protocols: Q.921 (LAPD), Q.93, SNMP, TCP/IP
- Experience with team (>5) development a plus
- Experience in system-level design is a major asset.
