I recentlt bought the above voice/fax/data modem and have a question.
on BBS access through PW4 in Win95 it lists the connect speed
(14400,31600,33600 etc). But on my internet connection w/ netcom using
Windows Dialer I get either 28800 or 19200 (actually I have received
24000 but who cares)
Here's the question. This modem is replacing an external Motorola
Lifestyle 28.8 which almost always got a 26400 connect. Yet at the
19200 w/ the new modem there is a HUGE difference in Web access. The new
modem is MUCH faster in WEB and USENET. Any ideas?
 
Is this a bug in the display of the win95 dialer? Is it actually
hitting at 33.6 yet only showing 19.2?
