I have been elected President of our local ATARI users Group. I do not know
where this echo (Network) goes to... if it goes our of San Antonio or out of
TEXAS then HELLO to all you other Atari users!!!

I am Sysop of the last remaining ATARI 8-BIT PRO BBS in Texas, perhaps the
Southwestern United States. ATARI Star Wars BBS can be reached at (210)
737-3019. It's open 24/hrs a day 300-14400 baud. Anyone wishing to ask
questions about our group or trade newsletters or software, etc. please call
and give me FEEDBACK. I am sysop of the BBS which is the support BBS of the
AAAUA!

Atari still lives here in San Antonio, as we still use our 8-Bits for
everything under the sun. The 8-Bit was in many ways ahead of it's time. It's
design was simple yet powerful and with proper support and proper marketing,
it could have become a real force in the world of computers but...alas Warner
gave it up and Tramiel and company took oevr and now it's no longer supported.

Oh well we aren't the only dinosaurs around. Thanks...

TODD
