Everyone who reads this thread pretty much knows what Rob and I were
talking about. I jumped in because Rob assumes (or assumed) that 16-bit BBS
software is "crappy", which I disagree. However I agree with him
that Renegade does NOT do Telnet - on its own. Renegade "does
Telnet" only with the assistance of a FOSSIL driver that's hooked
itself into the operating system's TCP/IP stack, ala NetFossil. So, we're
actually all in agreement. Rob and I just chose to elaborate on the
"RG does Telnet" statement.

Hey, I'm sorry you feel that way. I was an active 3rd-party developer for
Renegade when you were at the helm, so I don't think I'm ignorant - I'm
contributing more to the BBS community than just banter. You don't see me
in here calling BBS software "crappy" or calling others
"ignorant".
