It worked perfectly for me, with one exception, I have a registered copy
of TTBOMK the final 2.03 release, built in June, 2002. This version
contains many fixes that are not in the version included with eCS.
The exception is I can not use SIO with ICAT for kernel debugging. ICAT,
for some reason that we never figured out, drops input characters.

Nor did I, although I suspected he might be ill. We used to have
moderately regular e-mail conversations when I was beta testing for him.
He talked of retiring at times, but never did say why.
Whatever did happen, I suspect it was sudden. He had the gwinn domain
registered until 2008, so I don't think he was planning on disappearing.
