Keyboard is purple, mouse is green...

If they're stacked, keyboard is usually closest to the motherboard ("on
the bottom")

Are there any beep codes? If you power up with the RAM yanked out, you
should at least get a long.... interrupted... but.... continous....
beeeeeeep.... each lasting about a second.

Without a video card, you'd get a long beep, followed by either two or
three short beeps... (I forget exactly which).

LEDs have polarity - colour wire is the +, and with MSI, it's usually
labelled right on the connector with a + running through the pin itself

Reset switch, power switch - doesn't matter.

Hope this helps... it should at least tell you if the BIOS is getting
anywhere.

Are you sure the power supply is good? Antec sells a handy little
tester for them...
