Ah.  The M5 did, but then it's a heavy-duty gadget in a metal box, as
opposed to the E5, which was plastic, had none, and was demonstrably poorer
on v. bad lines.  Times have changed :)

I wondered about that too.  Guess I'd have to shell out for a full manual
if I really wanted to use all that.  Meanwhile, it's running just fine. 
The on/off switch seems a littly dicky, and its powerup sequence seems to
vary depending on how long it's been turned off for, but that's not a big
deal.

Thanks.  I'd already fixed &D2 &K3, and tried %C2.  I just took a
punt and set S95=47, and seemed to be getting the connect info I needed
alright that way.

Um, it normally sits there with mode LEDS 2 and 3 on, with LED one flashing
like mad, which I find irritating.  Is this a bug, feature, or mis-setting?
