GP~Except now CCRA has it that ANYONE can claim the dependent credits for
  ~most ANYONE who is truly financially dependent!

A true financially dependant is the least of it.. It has major
effects on drug plans and Canada Pension and survivor's benefits
and the GIS (Government Income Suppliment) program and other tax
breaks. If you think they want to have their marriages government
sanctified Just so they can wear a ring, I have news..
