Hypothetical ON:

I can setup free forum software to dupe all of the niceties
of FIDO and if users preferred to use that Fidonet would be a
big ZERO the next day.

Hypothetical OFF:

New computer owners (users) prefer IM'g, blogging, email, and
website forums. 'The Old Ones' here on FIDO really _are_
old-ones and when we are gone there will be few, if any,
replacements.
