TP/BP is still the Best DOS Compiler (IMHO) around and so still comes in handy
at times.

Delphi 1.0 makes Win 3.1x executables. Delphi 2.0 makes Win 95/NT Executables.
But currently, Delphi 2.0 comes with Delphi 1.0 on the same CD hence
covering both platforms.

As a professional programmer, I would recommend you considering Win95 (or
NT). Sure its wonderful for developing 32-bit Apps, but even developing
16-bit apps in an environment that is more tolerant on memory and resources
is great. I'm not saying that Win95/NT are perfect - they have heaps of
problems - it's just from a programming point of view - they have far less
problems than Win 3.1x
