Note to all: Tom asked me about this and my more complete answer was that
whoever moderates the C_Echo should obviously be a Fidonet participant. In
response to his request, I said that I could try to get a new point setup,
but I thought he'd be much better off, for a whole host of reasons,
soliciting candidates from the Fido ranks.

My final comment was to suggest to the echo membership that I could get a
Fido hookup to do the job. As I said, if anything would spur folks to belly
up to the task, the threat of an Internet interloper (or simply yet another
year of Bob Stout as moderater in the new century!) should do it!
