| subject: | F1: Renault Imola test notes 2004-02-19 |
Notes The day consisted of wet running. A hydraulic problem delayed Trulli during the afternoon but otherwise, both cars ran without problems. Alonso reached maximum mileage with his 'A' spec Melbourne engine, following his race simulation yesterday. Pat Symonds, Executive Director of Engineering: "A difficult final day owing to the cold, wet conditions, which meant the circuit had very low levels of grip today. We nonetheless managed to reach maximum mileage with Fernando's engine, and both drivers started learning about the handling of the R24 in the wet." Jarno Trulli Chassis: R24-01 30 laps, 148 km Best time: 1:31.324 Fernando Alonso Chassis: R24-02 49 laps, 242 km Best time: 1:33.165 -renault- http://www.motorsport.com -- your source for motorsport news on the Internet --- FIDOGATE 5.2.0ds-alpha3* Origin: TCOB1.net a way of life...
