I just returned from Arizona and vacation with a new book.  It is "A
COWBOY DETECTIVE" by Charles Siringo. This man was an agent of that
detective agency for many years.  This book is his autobiography of his
years as a detective in the cowboy era.  The odd thing is that the
Pinkerton Agency, in its efforts to protect its reputation, refused to
let its name be used.  the result is a bit odd, but it is a good story,
all the more because it is true!
