Well, I hope you are right. They push Delphi is a Database development tool,
it is so powerful in many areas, I think that they are loosing potential
market share. Oh Well...My biggest concern is to learn something that they
approve of at work and that is a truely visual tool. I don't have the time to
worry about reinventing message loops, and all the other typical stuff that
goes with creating c\c++ windows apps. If MS would come up with the
equivalent of VB/Delphi for Visual C, then I could use C at work and Delphi
at home. At work, I do use Delphi, but it is unsupported. If I write any apps
that go outside my group or require being supported by others, I have to use
VB or Visual C.
