Highest Speed 1985:

The 24 hr record behind pace is 1958.196 km 1216.8 miles by
Michael Secrest at Pheonix International Raceway, AZ on 26-27
April 1990. The highest speed ever achieved on a bicycle is
245.077 km/h 152.284 mph, by John Howard (USA) behind a
wind-shield at Boonneville Salt Flats, UT on 20 July 1985. It
should be noted that considerable help was provided by the
slipstreaming effect of the lead vehicle.

44.73 mph on 15 Sep 1989 at Michigan International Speedway,
Brooklyn Michigan n. Water cycle The Men's 2000 m 6,562 ft
(single ride) is 20.66 km/h 12.84 mph in Flying Fish by Steve
Hegg at Long Beach, CA on 20 July 1987.
