G450 wouldn't work in Julian's case - G450 features an older AGP slot
version which is not compatible with his mobo. Yet where appropriate
with older boards, I'd agree with you - even though I recommend to look
for a Matrox G400 instead. G400 is known to be faster. If you're really
lucky you might even find a DVI-daughterboard which will transform a
genuine G400 into an analog/digital card. However, DVI is only good up
to 1280x1024. Got one of those at home.
