Yes, I did install over a previous version of DOS and didn't delete it.  Even 
the Win95 beta version (which expired 12-31-96) did the same thing.  With the 
original purchase there was an uninstall icon in the Control Panel folder, so 
I can only assume from that that once you installed it once, the second 
install didn't load that feature.
