It's more of a debating tactic in this instance. The one who
'controls' the definitions of terminology being discussed can
swing the topic in any direction. In this case to discuss the
inner workings of fidonet to avoid discussing that people who
are inconsiderate and delete other people's messages don't
deserve consideration(s) from the person they've done it to. 

For Ross the fact that they were/are members of 'fidonet' and
the person they were cr*pping on was not (me) they are entitled
to the privilege. I disagree. 

Dubya and his pals Brownie and Scooter seem to agree with Ross
interpretation of right and wrong, that "rank has it's
privileges" and those without it should just deal with the
outcome. Again, I disagree.
