Does the documentation tell you "it will only run under COM5" or does it
say "you've to assign it to com5 through it's software"?
If the latter (as all USR I'm aware off do) , you'll need the software
to be ported to eCS. And incidentally, if you go a couple of years back
in the archives of this group, you'll encounter an entire tread about
PCI US Robotics and you'll know my remark can't be safely ignored.
