"It" (TG) doesn't support Telnet any more than RG, RA, or any other crappy
16-bit BBS software does. Sure, you can use a 3rd party FOSSIL driver (like
SyncFOSS or NETFOSS for Windows or Ray Gwinn's VMODEM/SIO for OS/2) to kludge
the BBS softare into thinking it's talking to a serial port/modem, but that
doesn't make TG "support Telnet" any more than any other software for those
platforms.

TG doesn't "do telnet". It "does FOSSIL", and 3rd party
FOSSIL drivers can be
utilitized to support Telnet for obsolete 16-bit BBS programs like it.

True 32-bit BBS packages that "do telnet" on Windows include Synchronet (of
course), EleBBS, Wildcat!, Mystic, BBBS, and WWIV v5. There may be more, but TG
ain't one of them.
