Of course. The inability of 1.60d to handle PCI was exactly the reason 
why Ray created Sio2k.

Someone told here 1.60d does PCI, but that statement can safely be ignored.

Also, as (alas) had been PROVEN (here in this very group) already a couple
of times in the past, US Robotics PCI modems are closely tied to their
accompagning software, making it practically impossible to use them
without.  

Of course, if someone can PROVE  me wrong, I'll be happy to hear it.
