 Not at ALL! It might mean they accquired information through sensory
analogs to us, but thinking like us? Unlikely, even if they were
organic creatures related to us.

   I have a real problem with this concept. It sounds TOO similar to
the UFO sightings are caused by our fears of nuclear war scenario used
to explain them during the Cold War. I don't think there is that much
paranoia out there, except in certain groups, that would cause such a
psychic event. Mostly you find either cynicism or indifferance
politically speaking.
   Here's my own hypothesis on numbers of abductions being reported: It
seems that the experiencers are actually being given messages & images
that suggest the problem is much larger than it actually is. Maybe the
tip of this iceberg is the *ICEBERG" itself.
  Which of course, is no explanation.
