I know of him, I have messaged him a few times over the last couple years

 (he's a USR Courier owner) and logged into his BBS a few times, I new he

was a cluey boy but did not realise that this what he did for a living.

I am in thaa similaar boaat here, averaging 5 10-20 minute phone calls a day

for the last 3 days talking to Telstra Techs and  trying to get my lines 

improved.



I might have aa better chance at Nhulunbuy, myself



I was told last night that they are only going to take another look at my 

lines because I mentioned that thoughput drops to 200cps (BELOW a 2400

connect) otherwise I am on my own.). they also wanted to know what speed my

modems trained down to ?????? He was happy when I said 300.



What a joke



He said "SOME PEOPLE have the hide to expect 26400 modems and above to work.

on our phone system, of course they don't and we don't bother helping anyone

that complains that they wont work at this speed, only 2300 and below"



He must have failed the Telstra employee public relations course.
