Only kde and gnome.  X itself isn't too bad and with a more sane window
manager it is actually quite well behaved memory wise as well as otherwise.
 Personally I prefer blackbox and/or windowmaker.  Neither of those tries
to run the show or try and steal kernel control.  Also I use the 'startx'
option from the commandline rather then have X upon bootup.  That saves
much grief in many, many ways.
