I purchased an AT&T model 9100 900 mhz cordless phone that advertises as
eing
digital voice secured. I have not been able to verify the frequencies, mode
and steps that this thing is transmitting on.
In the technical specifications it lists the operating frequencies to be as
follows:
Transmit
Handset-925.05 mhz to 927.75 mhz (All 10 channels within this range)
Base- 902.3 mhz to 905.0 mhz (All 10 channels within this range)
Recieve
Handset-902.3 mhz to 905.0 mhz (All 10 channels within this range)
Base-925.05 mhz to 927.75 mhz (All 10 channels within this range)
I have tried at every opportunity to scan for it's activity when some one
uses
it but no luck. I need to know if this thing is really digitally scrambling
the voice, if I can't confirm it, I'm not going to keep this somewhat pricey
toy. Can someone help me out? I know that my Pro 2042 can pick up the thing,
since I'm sitting right below the outside antenna.
Basically I have three questions....
What are the frequencies this model opperates between? This one would be
manufactured for use in the United States.
What mode should I be scanning in to get confirmation of digital security?
Also just for good measure what steps should I be scanning in?
... Don't steal.....Politicians hate competition.
