Spam runs are usually longer than the prime Pump N Dump period that the original spammer wanted. So statistically by the time you get the E-mail, it's already been through the wash, rinse, and spin cycle. In some cases my theory is that spammer have no buyers for a particular spam run. Since they have their spamming bot network all primed to go, they just reload some old stock spams to keep the spamming machine oiled, generating statistics, and annoying E-mail admins. The original spam run buyer doesn't benefit from a free spam run at that point because the Pump N Dump cycle is over. I've toyed with detecting the start of a new stock spam cycle at the end of a day and getting in on the Pump N Dump run. But then after the knock at the door from the SEC, I'd somehow need to convince them that I'm not part of the spam operation. --- BBBS/NT v4.01 Flag-5* Origin: Barktopia BBS Site http://HarborWebs.com:8081 (1:379/45) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 379/45 1 633/267 |
