That's my whole point, which you seem to have missed in the earlier post.

If Israel has other options and doesn't need the products or partial
products of its own enrichment, then it could pool all of it suranium and
the most likely use is a conventional uranium tip for the same purpose as
DU - as a penetrant.  It just happens to be enriched, but that makes no
difference in non-fissile use.

Essentially, we've caught them using scrap metal.  The interesting bit is -
if this is really how they've used it - why is it now so worthless?
Enriched uranium is worth orders of magnitude more than normal uranium -
it's hellishly expensive to produce.
