Just a note, I bought a Spirit 33DL (whitebox) modem from Harvey Norman
prior to Christmas (23.12.96) for $199. EXCELLENT modem so far (knock on
wood), 2 year warranty.

These modem were left over from being sold as a set with a computer and
Harvey Norman bought a shipment, it maybe hard to track them down, but if
you ring Mike Boorne Electronics (the distributors of the spirt modem)
they'll tell you what is going on and which stores have them.  The Spirit
336DL is the same modem as the Spirit Dragon (different case {Whitebox}).

Ohh yeah I DON'T work for Mike Boorne Electronics, I had an old Spirit II
(14400 bps) and found it a brilliant modem and when it had a hiccup
(18months old) Mike Boorne replaced the internal board and got me going,
with little fuss, so when I upgraded I went straight for a Spirit again.
