Yes I do. I am currently working with your DoD MHS & VA departments. VA
is doing a lot with prosthetics & are adopting HL7 V3 which is what
we're using & the MHS are adopting HL7 as part of their "Connected
Battlefield" concept. First the US mil & then it will become a
NATO std so that if a US PBI is dragged into a Greek or Dutch or German
field hospital, everyone can "speak the same language" wrt
transferring medical info.

As such I am meeting & talking with a fair few MHS/VA people (e.g. I
had meetings with them when I saw you in Alexandria).

We have had long chats about the current incentives for joining the US mil
esp as PBI.


Maybe the wounded they deal with have a higher incidence of the lower
education ppl or maybe the US mil hasn't got the time any more to send
people to get better grades but from their recounting what I said is
accurate. Possibly the less educated get streamed to the PBI or possibly
the more educated get streamed to less risky parts of the US mil.

However I am obviously not about to name names period let alone in a public
forum so you will just have to accept that it is hearsay.
