Sorry Steve, I forgot to add - IF you have an older mobo and don't
want active cooling (i.e. extra noise).
I do know that the entire line of ATI >9250 is working in digital mode
at higher resolutions - but I tacitly assumed that those considering a
replacement for a G450 would aim at comparable (& compatible) hardware
[which was the original question]. Up to now, I've not come across an
ATI card above the 9250 that features passive cooling & provides
backward compatibility at the same time.
