Hi prabir! :-) ps> Can anyone explain me, how and why sometimes in API's or userdefined ps> functions, we use to declare (store) a character in an int datatype, ps> or in other words , store a char variable in an int storage ?? Well, getc for example has to be able to return EOF, and you can't choose any character value for that since all character values are valid input. So just returning char could not work, you would have no way to identify EOF then.
