    Thanks, Bob. It is such a waste of time to write an unnecessary
preprocessor for Gecho (and all the other echomail processors in use), if
the problem can be eliminated at source. The appended information is
totally unnecessary for FidoNet.

    I do have header files with all the message structures of FidoNet
somewhere on disc if they are any help.

    There has been a break of about four days in the propagation of the
echo, so that explains the delay of my replying.

    Since I received Neil's question only today, and since others had
provided a completely satisfactory answer days before I even read the
question, I hope Neil will forgive me for saying nothing.
