After investigation of the incident between Ralf Schumacher and Fernando
Alonso during the San Marino Grand Pix, race stewards have decided that
there will be no further action taken. Late in the race Alonso tried to
overtake Schumacher for fourth, with the result of the Renault and Williams
coming into contact, and Schumacher spun. He recovered and finished the
race in seventh place.

Alonso, who finished fourth, thought Schumacher had been perhaps a little
aggressive in his defending but the stewards examined video and telemetry
evidence and decided a penalty was unwarranted. "Until the incident
with Alonso I was quite happy with the weekend in general, obviously it was
a shame what happened," was Schumacher's only comment after the race.
