Hey Andrew! Dec 04 16:49 05, Andrew Ball wrote to Maurice Kinal: AB> Sounds like you're working in a measured (e.g. $/Gbyte) environment. The cable internet connection has a ceiling as well as a flat fee per month. I never exceed it so it isn't a problem but it could be and I know many who have overshot and had to pay the price. The LANs here are a totally different story and bandwidth isn't an issue but even that costs, albiet not as much over time and has no restrictions other then physical ones. A couple hours of streaming audio/visual stuff, even to just myself, pretty well much covers the cost when compared to an internet connection which offers far less then I do. :-) Life is good, Maurice --- Msged/LNX 6.1.2* Origin: The Pointy Stick Society XV - Linux Point (1:261/38.9) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 261/38 123/500 106/2000 633/267 |
