Greetings!  My wife and I just read your message of anger and frustration,
and I think we have equal amounts of it ourselves.  Maybe there's a bit of
hope in your having become president, however.
Our anger, of course, won't prompt anybody to change his or her mind.
Maybe it can motivate us to be creative as hell in finding ways to
communicate that will entice others to listen.  Maybe!  Probably, the best
approach is that of the Option Institute and Fellowship:  to strive to
deal with every person with an attitude of acceptance and nonjudgment of
that person.  I find the road to that point a very hard one to travel, but
some rewards along the way have caused me to take more seriously the idea
that it might succeed where anger often fails.
