yes, I'm familliar with XLR and most other connectors, but this camera has no 
audio output, so I'm assuming that it's not an audio input.. 
the reason I mentioned the BNC connector is that it does have a collar with 
two bumps on it, and looks identical to a BNC except it's a bit smaller and 
has three pins instead of one..
