Just about every Roadster I've come across has the same problem: It gets
stuck in a continuousmtraining loop. Try this init string:
AT&F &K3 &D2 \N3 -K0 S7=60 S0=0 %E2
Write that to NVRAM and use ATZ thereafter.

I just witnessed a miracle: I am logged into the racks at work right now.
My dialer reveals CONNECT 33600/ARQ/V34/LAPM/V42BIS. That's the first time
I've seen a straight-out 33600 connect. Usually I connect at 31200, with
28800 and
26400 being common too. Not bad for a Courier to M34F connection.
