I always thought you needed to set both. I always set both on my Supra, whichever order, and it seems to work fine. Actually, S95=111 (on the Supra, at least) will report both speeds in the CARRIER response on a split-rate V.34 connection (even if the connection isn't actually split-rate, but merely allows it.) > Thanks for the info on the Supra. Yes, although as I mentioned previously one of mine has met with an early demise due to my tinkering. I just might go out and buy one of those new Spirits Dave Hatch talks about, $199 at Hardly Normal sounds ok. Should be $140 anywhere else. :-) Regards, Hamish --- GoldED/P32 2.42.G1219+* Origin: Cloud Nine, Melbourne, Australia - +61 3 9886 5195 (3:632/552) SEEN-BY: 3/103 50/99 54/99 620/243 621/505 623/630 625/160 632/50 107 108 158 SEEN-BY: 632/309 348 353 360 371 373 525 553 561 562 601 633/374 634/382 SEEN-BY: 635/301 506 544 728 638/102 639/252 640/820 711/401 413 430 808 934 SEEN-BY: 712/311 407 505 506 517 623 624 628 704 841 888 713/317 714/906 SEEN-BY: 772/20 800/1 @PATH: 632/552 371 107 360 50/99 712/624 711/934 |
