I use it more than anything else on this box,  too.  On linux I use mcedit,
which seems to be pretty similar in terms of capabilities,  though I've had
to work at keeping the keystrokes straight when switching sometimes.  :-)

Macros are something I've done very little with.  What sort of stuff do you
do with them that's useful?

That's a good way to describe a lot of that stuff,  you have to fight with
it to get it to do what you want it to do.

I've also been fiddling with copies of web pages here,  and had the
misfortune to acquire a few that were apparently done with word.  I've
decided that it's the worst possible tool there is for web pages,  at least
in terms of what I've encountered so far!  :-)
