FYI, and because you know I can't resist this :-) Supra have gone the odd route
on this one and separated it into %E and %G, each being 0 or 1. The default
is %E1 %G0, which is equivalent to %E1.

%E1=Enable Auto Retrain based on line quality
%Gn Rate Renegotiation (Fall Back/Forward) based on line quality monitor
readings (Fall Forward only if "good" quality for period
set in S190)
%G0=Disabled
%G1=Enabled (Default)
