A real answer. I'll take a few days and try it out.

I also only spent 15 bucks on it. I consider it rather like
shareware. If I like what I see, and it works well, I'll pay
more for a later, greater version. Parenthetically, some of the
core OS/2 files I have date from Jan'95. I use plenty of
programs that are considerably older than that. One of the
utilities I load in my autoexec is from 1985. Another, from
1986, is one I've never seen the like of, and I use it scores of
times every day.

It can't be much worse than Win95, which came with this computer
I bought when my old one died, and which is endlessly annoying.
I'll probably end up wiping the partition I exiled it to.

Mail and news go together, but why they stick them with
browsing, I don't know. I tried that mode with Netscape and
MSIE in Windows, and found it wasn't me. Build a fast, small
browser, I say, and leave mail/newsgroups to a separate fast,
small, dedicated program.
