Thanks, I have had better luck since I dumped a TRS that reports on memory 
usage. I would like to know about a source where I can learn more about the 
added interrupt layer that Windows adds. I know it's a whole different system 
than what I'm used to working with (DOS). I used to read the DOS tech ref. 
man. a lot but have not found one for Windows... Now, 32 bit access has been 
on, I'll try RTS= off and kick up the baud rate again to see if it makes any 
dif. For the most part, though, things have been a lot better as of late. 
Just keeping my fingers crossed and a REAL good eye on my download progress.
