I've enjoyed the discussion about contact managers, so I thought I'd ask 
about accounting software.
I have a client who owns a used auto dealership.  The vertical market 
software is extremely expensive.  Is anyone aware of any accounting packages 
used by auto dealers?
I am contemplating getting a good mid-range accounting package and modifying 
the inventory and reporting functions for the auto industry.  Maybe give the 
vertical market people some competition....
