Well, time to call a vote for moderator of this area which means time to
take nominations from interested parties. I may have missed someone saying
that they will do the tally and reporting job so forgive me if this is the
case. However, in the absence of seeing any such message, I volunteer
myself as vote taker.

Taking of would-be moderator names ends midnight 26/7/96 EST (eg, Sydney
Winter time).

I will reply to each nomination to let you know I got it and post the names
in here after midnight that time.

Votes for nominated people (who, because of lack of time dont need seconds)
will start after midnight 26/7/96 and go to midnight 31/7/96.

I am sorry I cant give any more time than that and hope that Dave Hatch
will extend the time to allow this vote if that is not in his cutoff time.

contact me. My BBS is able to take crashmails 24 hours a day. 14400 only my
end but if you are putting a 2 line message in to me, it wont make any real
difference. ;-}
