....I suspect you're right on that one. Mind you, I
learned that 'salt and pepper' thing from another English fellow that I
worked with almost 30 years ago (I was born in England, we came to Canada
at the end of '64'). I don't ever recall seeing anything
resembling 'English Muffins' when we lived in England, though
