Have the stats changed for Baerga this year? There was a lot of grumbling
about his weight in spring training, and what it did to his bat and fielding.
Couldn't the conclusion to be drawn here is that Baerga's changed, not that
the stats are "invalid" because it showed Baerga was at one (sustained) point
a better player than Roberto Alomar. I don't consider this "proof" at all.
