Other than NetComm, of course ... :-)

The only problem I've seen with the Roadsters is their annoying inability
to handshake. Upon making a call, they seem to get stuck in a continuous
loop, trying desperately to train.

A call to NetComm produced an init string which seemingly cured this
problem, but I imagine that the problem is a little further deep.

Spirits are Rockwell-based? I always throught they were proprietary ...

Never! :-)

Glen has called my BBS and asked me for recommendations, but I could come
up with nothing better than the Courier. He dismissed it on the grounds
that it doesn't fit into his budget constraints. Since buying my Courier, I
have not even bothered looking at other modems.
